Shaoguan University is located in Shaoguan City, a historical and cultural city in the northern part of Guangdong Province. Established with the approval of the Ministry of Education of China, it is a provincial public full-time comprehensive general undergraduate university. The university traces its origins back to Shaoguan Normal College, founded in 1958, and is a comprehensive university with a complete range of disciplines.
