The ‘Night Tour of Tingjiang River on Both Sides’ project is located in the core area of Tingzhou Ancient City in Changting County, a national historical and cultural city, the capital of Hakka people and the hometown of the Red Army. It is on the Taining River, the mother river of Hakka people. The total length is about 5 kilometers. The scenery on both sides of the Tingjiang River is beautiful and passes through the city.
The ‘Dream Back to Tingzhou’ themed technological light and shadow show created with modern technologies such as sound, light and electricity integrates the long-standing human history and beautiful natural landscape of Changting. Taking a painted pleasure boat, one can intuitively feel the unique humanistic heritage and connotation of this thousand-year-old ancient city of Changting! ‘Ten thousand households on both banks of the river, green poplars and mist lock the Jichuan Bridge’. Merchant docks, the sound of oars and the shadows of punting poles. ‘Three thousand on the upper reaches and eight hundred on the lower reaches’ is an epitome of the prosperous water transportation and business of Tingzhou in those years.
