The Ye Jianying Memorial Park was integrated, expanded and enriched on the basis of the original former residence and memorial hall of Marshal Ye Jianying on May 5, 2005. It has now been expanded into four functional areas: cultural scenic area, memorial scenic area, ecological forest area, and new landscapes such as parks, squares, lakes and ponds, and bridge corridors have been added. The new memorial hall is built against the mountain, with three floors. Its appearance is geometrically constructed, magnificent, and extremely modern. It combines beauty and practicality. It is divided into four exhibition halls. In addition to the original physical displays such as pictures and bronze statues, new expression methods such as scene reproduction, video display, and oil paintings are added to facilitate people to visit and understand historical events. The giant relief in the second exhibition hall is 10 meters high and has an area of 90 square meters. It is titled ‘Spring Returns to the Earth’, which shows the joy of the whole country and people after the crushing of the ‘Gang of Four’. In the third exhibition hall, there is a relief titled ‘Pillar’. Through the display of a large number of pictures, objects, and artworks, it vividly shows the great and glorious life full of legendary colors of the older generation of revolutionaries.
