Tai’an Tower, constructed during the reign of Emperor Qianlong in the Qing Dynasty in the 28th year (1764 AD), has a history of 247 years. It is an extremely rare stone square building and is designated as a provincial cultural relic protection unit.
To protect Tai’an Tower, the government has built a large-scale protection park around it, which is divided into two parts: land and water. The park is designed with six functional areas including the central area, cultural area, lakeside, stream, drum tower, and memorial archway, featuring 38 scenic spots that integrate the unique characteristics of ‘four towns’ and ‘four famous’ from Dapu into one garden.

The park is open all year round from 08:30 to 18:00. A must-see tip: Children should not climb to high places of the tower while playing, and safety should be observed.
