Hongqi Tea Factory is located next to Xiucai Reservoir in Yinghong Town, Yingde City, Guangdong Province, situated at Guangdong Yingde Kengkou, adjacent to the Tea Research Institute of Guangdong Academy of Agricultural Sciences, and was originally under the jurisdiction of Guangdong Yinghong Overseas Chinese Tea Farm. It has a long history of black tea production, established in 1958, and is recognized as the birthplace of Yingde black tea industry. It laid the foundation for modern black tea craftsmanship in Yingde, holding an important position in the history and technological revolution of Yingde black tea industry development in China. Its development course can be regarded as a miniature of the history of Yingde black tea development.
