The scenic spot is located in Fuliangmei Village, BaiGong, Mei County, also known as Lianfang Building, which was funded by overseas Chinese. The enclosed house, measuring nearly a hundred meters in length and forty to fifty meters in width, is surrounded by buildings forming a large courtyard known as a ‘walled house’. The front of the house features three protruding bell tower-style gates, all adorned with animal and floral reliefs on the top, bottom, and sides, as well as at the top of all windows.
The upper part of the bell tower is decorated with statues such as lion playing ball, double dragons grabbing treasure, eagle spreading wings, and angels visiting. Under the balcony of the main building’s gate, there is also a carving of Guo Ziyi paying respects to the elderly, which is exquisitely crafted. Looking at the entire building, it is magnificent and luxurious. Inside the enclosed house, there are more than one hundred rooms, halls, chambers, corridors, and courtyards, all designed with great ingenuity.
