The Yangming Xingu Scenic Area is located in the northern suburbs of Longnan urban area, separated from the urban area by only one river. The total planned area of the scenic area is about 1695 mu. The currently opened first phase of the scenic area covers an area of about 500 mu. The first phase of the scenic area is built according to 4A-level standards. With Yushi Xianyan as the main scenery and Yangming’s philosophy of mind as the core, it focuses on Wang Yangming’s ‘three achievements’ in Longnan.
At the same time, it makes full use of the advantages of rich cultural relics and strong story-telling of historical events in Yushi Xianyan, deeply explores cultural context and scene resources, scientifically sets up tourist routes, and creates a product system with functions of cultural experience, research and exhibition, suburban leisure and night tours, and natural ecological landscapes. It constructs a Yangming cultural experience tourist route with a clear narrative context. The scenic area adopts the planning concept of ‘pan-museum’ cultural display and creates a cultural landscape of ‘Xianyan Sacred Heart · Eight Scenes in One Line’. While showing historical authentic works, it spreads the wisdom of mind learning to tourists. The Yangming Xingu Scenic Area has added a highly recognizable cultural landmark to Longnan, an ancient city with a history of thousands of years, and has extremely high tourist value.
