Zhanqi Tower is located on Zhanqifeng Mountain in Lishui, Nanhai District, Foshan City. Zhanqifeng Mountain is the highest peak in Lishui. Nowadays, the landmark building at the northern end of the central axis of Nanhai City – Zhanqi Tower has been built in Zhanqifeng Ecological Park. Zhanqi Tower is about 49.85 meters high. It is the northernmost peak on the central axis of Qiandenghu Lake. It echoes Kuixing Pavilion in Guicheng at the southern end from afar, forming the pattern of ‘southern pavilion and northern tower’ at the core of Nanhai. The whole pavilion faces south. The architectural style is similar to Tengwang Pavilion in Jiangxi Province.
