The China Golden Phoebe Museum was built in 2012 and is located in Chuzhou, a famous historical and cultural city in Anhui Province. The exhibition hall covers an area of 16,000 square meters. It is a unique museum with golden phoebe as the theme. The exhibition hall is a cultural park integrating collection, research, display and auction. It is also a scientific research base for golden phoebe in China and a sales exhibition center for golden phoebe furniture in China. The museum has collected and sorted out golden phoebe furniture that has been scattered among the people and temples for a long time, such as general cabinets, canopy beds, offering tables, square tables, grand master chairs and other kinds of ancient golden phoebe furniture. At present, the museum has carefully collected more than 5,000 representative high-level collections of golden phoebe series from different periods such as the Ming Dynasty and the Qing Dynasty. These include selected collections such as golden phoebe general cabinets, fine shrines, fine screens, melon rib cabinets, four-flat cabinets, large cabinets, long tables, canopy beds, grand master chairs and dressing tables. The plane layout of this museum is divided into six areas: open area, warehouse area, academic area, scientific research area, management area and equipment area. The six exhibition halls are respectively ‘Exhibition Hall of Classic Golden Phoebe Offering Tables in the Ming and Qing Dynasties’, ‘Exhibition Hall of Classic Golden Phoebe Beds in the Ming and Qing Dynasties’, ‘Comprehensive Exhibition Hall of Classic Golden Phoebe Furniture in the Ming and Qing Dynasties’, ‘Exhibition Hall of Fine Golden Phoebe Cabinets in the Ming and Qing Dynasties’, ‘Exhibition Hall of Fine Modern Furniture’ and ‘Exhibition Hall of Fine Screens, Gilded Shrines and Couches in the Ming and Qing Dynasties’. At present, it is welcoming visitors from all directions with a brand-new look. The golden phoebe furniture in the collection must all have tiger skin patterns and water ripple patterns. Under illumination, the scenery can change with each step and emit dazzling golden threads and elegant nanxiang. The opening of the China Golden Phoebe Museum fully displays the elegance of the furniture of emperors in the past in China and reproduces and restores a complete picture of the life of ancient high-ranking officials and famous families. It is suitable for sightseeing, appreciation and living, enabling future generations to further understand the politics and life of the upper class in ancient times. It also embodies exquisite craft value, extremely high artistic appreciation value and profound historical and cultural value.
