Yequgou Tourist Area is located in the northern part of the main peak of Daguishan, surrounded by mountains and water, with a quiet and serene environment. It boasts a variety of natural beauties such as the Wild Duck Lake, Hundred Flower Garden, and the resounding Shui Waterfall, as well as the thrilling adventure of dark cave rafting. Navigating through the scenic area’s mountains and forests, one must pass by the Wild Duck Lake, where the water is as calm as a mirror, the scenery is beautiful, and wild ducks occasionally appear, marking the starting point of the rafting journey.
Here, one can also choose to continue walking to admire the scenery, with the Hundred Flower Garden and Hundred Herb Garden displaying exotic flowers and plants, and in Hu Li Ao, one can search for the figures of the ‘Four Gentlemen’ – plum, orchid, bamboo, and chrysanthemum. The magnificent waterfalls and rugged landscapes of Xiang Shui Ping and Tong Tian He are truly captivating. The rafting journey starting from the Wild Duck Lake provides multiple thrilling experiences, including the rapid and adventurous rapids rafting, the leisurely and shaded forest rafting, and the interesting cave rafting. Of course, in addition to rafting, visitors can also enjoy leisure activities such as picnicking and swimming in the forest. The area is open all year round from 08:30 to 17:30. Preferential policies include free admission for children under 1.2 meters (not including) and a child ticket for those between 1.2 meters (including) and 1.4 meters (not including). Elderly people aged 70 and above (including) enjoy free admission. Parking facilities are available at the scenic area’s parking lot, located at 10 kilometers on the Guishan Tourism Avenue in Heyuan City, Guangdong Province, with 100 parking spaces.
