The Shuiyue Bay Scenic Area was built in 1996, covering an area of 280 mu. It is the main natural education and research base of Wanlv Lake and an important habitat for the peach blossom jellyfish, known as the “giant panda in water”. It houses the only water-based publicity and education center of Wanlv Lake National Wetland Park. Integrating research, popular science, education, sightseeing and entertainment, it combines education with entertainment, allowing visitors to experience natural research. It is hailed as the “parent-child study tour paradise” and “ecological encyclopedia museum” of Wanlv Lake.
At present, there are attractions such as Bolang Pavilion, Reading the Sunset, Spring Scenery of the Lake, The Road to the Hometown of Dinosaurs, Shuiyue Square, Waterfront Promenade, Shuiyue Station, Deyue Xuan, and Wetland Publicity and Education Base.
