Gan En Lake is situated below Guanyin Temple, where the Yaofo Ridge stream converges to form a lake. The lake’s surface is as calm as a mirror, and the water is crystal clear, resembling a pearl inlaid amidst the mountains. The lake reflects the sky and clouds, and is home to a variety of aquatic life including fish, shrimp, turtles, and softshell turtles. It is open all year round and accessible twenty-four hours a day.
