Deng Yanda Memorial Park is located in Luk Jing Village, Santong Town, Huiyang District, Huizhou City. Its spatial layout is characterized by ‘one core, one axis, and three areas’. ‘One core’ refers to the central area composed of Deng Yanda’s former residence, exhibition hall, and Yanda School, which includes an exhibition hall, inspirational wall, Baoding Bridge, Wuchang Bridge, Saposai Pavilion, and Yu Garden Pavilion, among others.
The total land area of the memorial park is 52.6 hectares, with a construction land area of 21.8 hectares. The Deng Yanda Exhibition Hall occupies an area of approximately 1000 square meters, with a building area of 730 square meters, and is equipped with exhibition halls, meeting rooms, reception rooms, etc. ‘One axis’ is the axis that connects various functional areas and showcases the diverse landscapes of the memorial park. ‘Three areas’ refer to the old village style area in the west, the sightseeing agricultural leisure area in the center, and the modern agricultural area in the east. The park has now become a popular base for social science popularization and learning, a study and preaching demonstration base, a history education base for the Chinese Peasants and Workers Democratic Party, a united front base in Guangdong Province, and a patriotic education base in Guangdong Province.
