Shantou Post Office Headquarters, commonly known as ‘Old Anping Post and Telegraph Bureau’ or ‘Anping Post Office’, is the self-built post office since Shantou’s opening as a port, witnessing the development history of postal communication in Shantou, Guangdong, and China. Together with the Guangzhou Post Museum, it has become one of the two relatively well-preserved postal buildings in Guangdong Province, adopting European architectural styles. It is a municipal cultural heritage protection unit. Open all year round from Tuesday to Sunday, 09:00-17:00; closed all day on Mondays.
