The Guan Shanyue Art Museum is one of the two renowned art museums in Shenzhen. Officially opened in 1997, it was specially established to preserve the artistic works donated by Mr. Guan Shanyue. Fixed and mobile rest areas are provided alongside seating options, ensuring that visitors need not worry about fatigue from extensive walking. Typically, traveling thematic exhibitions are held in three halls on the first floor, while the second floor permanently displays the life of Mr. Guan Shanyue and his copies from the Mogao Caves in Dunhuang. The museum houses a total of 813 exquisite pieces created by Guan, making it one of the most comprehensive collections of his works worldwide since its establishment. These works encompass the finest creations from various periods of Guan’s career, becoming one of Shenzhen’s most valuable cultural treasures.
