Qinglong Temple is located in the Xiaolugou Scenic Area of Sankuai Stone National Forest Park, where the mountains and rivers are beautiful. Here, the mountains are clear, the waters are beautiful, the scenery is pleasant, the streams are gurgling, and the winding paths lead to secluded places. It is a Buddhist sacred place full of magical legends.
There is a vivid Reclining Buddha on Lingshan Mountain and an ancient Guanyin Cave over 100 million years old. There is also the Holy Place of Biqiu Cave where the eminent monk achieved nirvana and ascended to heaven.
The main building of Qinglong Temple is held up by eight-petaled lotuses, and the golden Dharma wheel rotates in the sky. To the south is the sacred mountain of Medicine Buddha. Beside it, a divine turtle lies in the pond, shining in contrast. The three stars of Fortune, Prosperity, and Longevity gather here.
To the west is the Western Pure Land. The 600-year-old divine elm tree responds to every prayer. The shape of the tree is like a running deer, coinciding with the name of Xiaolugou, making it famous far and wide. Amitabha Buddha, Avalokitesvara, and Mahasthamaprapta descend here to guide all sentient beings.
To the north is the place where the Five-Fang God of Wealth stops, a place of constant prosperity. Looking east, one can see Wanxian Mountain, a treasured place for the immortals to cultivate, protecting the Dharma hall.
On both sides, two clear springs meander like jade belts, forming the power of two Dharma protectors. In the middle is the Huayan Pure Land. The Vairocana Buddha, the Dharma body of Sakyamuni Buddha, the of the Saha World, sits upright on the purple-gold platform, 21.48 meters high. Below the lotus platform is the Hall of Ten Thousand Buddhas. In the center sits the Vairocana Buddha, the Medicine Buddha of the Eastern Lapis Lazuli World, the Ratnasambhava Buddha of the Southern World, the Amitabha Buddha of the Western World, and the Amoghasiddhi Buddha of the Northern World. Together, they are the Five Buddhas of the Five Directions.
Around the Hall of Ten Thousand Buddhas, 10,000 38-centimeter-high incarnations of the Vairocana Buddha are enshrined, representing that the countless incarnations fill the Dharma realm. Devotees from all directions can also invite them to their homes for worship. The Buddha’s feet descend to the mortal residence, saving all sentient beings, spreading the nectar of Dharma, turning the burning house into a red lotus, and transforming the Saha world into a pure land!
