Qianjia Fortress is located in the southern part of the Luoluo Fort area within the central-southern region of the Yixian Mountain, 15 kilometers southwest of Bei Zhen City, and only a few kilometers away from the An Yang Highway. According to legend, during the late Ming and early Qing dynasties, a thousand families sought refuge here and were all kept safe, hence the name. It is also the site of Yuantong Temple, one of the four major Taoist temples in Yixian Mountain. The fortress is divided into an upper and lower courtyard. The opening hours and business status are subject to the day’s operational conditions.
