Xiamen Science and Technology Museum is a state-of-the-art comprehensive science museum in China, and it is also a popular domestic family travel destination, known as the ‘Disneyland of Science’. The museum features five major thematic exhibition halls, 400 interactive experience projects, and three dynamic cinemas, attracting over a million visitors annually. Upon entering the ‘Prelude Hall’, one can immediately see the museum’s treasure – the water clock, a timekeeping device powered by water, which combines the escapement mechanism invented by Su Song, a scientist from Xiamen during the Northern Song Dynasty.
As you step into the ‘Exploration Hall’, a new adventure begins: immerse yourself in the ever-changing universe and stars in the popular exhibit – the Time Tunnel; experience the thrill of having your hair stand on end in the open electromagnetism stage; and get lost in the large mirror maze…

Entering the ‘Creation Hall’ feels like stepping into a future world – watch robots dance, play chess with robots, and have them draw your portrait… There is also the highly popular world of light and shadow: the beautiful and colorful flower sea, the unique fireworks fountain created with gestures, and discovering a shadow world that has been given ‘life’…

Starting from the ‘Harmony Hall’, a space filled with technology and a sense of the future is presented before your eyes. Through immersive human adventure experiences, vivid three-dimensional animations, and fun physical tests, you can explore the secrets of the human body from the cellular level.

When you arrive at the ‘Ocean Hall’, prepare a curious heart and an active mind, as there is not only an undersea world to unleash your imagination but also magical and interesting VR undersea adventures and AR surfing experiences.

Walking to the second floor ‘Children’s Hall’ is like opening a Pandora’s box, filled with endless fun: witness the magic rain defying gravity by flowing upwards, experience the exhilaration of sliding down a large slide into a pool of ocean balls, and watch the little balls in the ball kingdom climb gears, levitate… each showing their unique skills.

In addition to the five major thematic exhibition halls, there are three cinemas within the museum. The dream theater combining reality and illusion, the story-driven 4D flying cinema, and the immersive 720Rider cinema – during the movie-watching process, you can enjoy the splendid scenery without missing the thrilling experiences.
