Xiamen Gulang Soy Sauce Cultural Garden, funded and constructed by Xiamen Gulang Food Co., Ltd., opened to the public in early 2013. Possessing nearly 60,000 traditional soy sauce jars, Gulang boasts the largest traditional soy sauce fermentation and sunbathing area in Asia, with a total area of nearly 50,000 square meters, recorded in the Shanghai Guinness World Records.
Gulang remains committed to producing soy sauce using traditional ancient methods, which are also applied in can production.

This brewing process encapsulates over three thousand years of Chinese soy sauce culture history and has been listed as a ‘Non-material Cultural Heritage’ project in Xiamen.
On the tenth floor of the garden, there is a 2,800 square meter gallery of peculiar stones, which collects and displays various types of peculiar stones. Many of these are from the collections of several stone enthusiasts from the Xiamen Peculiar Stone Association, greatly enriching your knowledge of science and adding an interesting touch to the garden.

Standing on the tenth floor and overlooking the Gulang Cultural Garden, one can’t help but feel a sense of nostalgia and amazement at the transformation of the once downtown Houjiangdai canning factory. The Gulang Food Company’s idea to create this cultural garden is excellent, as it not only enhances the company’s reputation but also adds a tourist attraction to Xiamen, allowing the public to gain knowledge through visits.

Opening hours: All year round, Tuesday to Sunday from 09:00 to 17:00; all year round, Monday is closed.
