Lin Yutang’s former residence is located on Zhangzhou Road, Gulangyu Island, which was the home of Lin Yutang’s wife, Liao Cuifeng. It is one of the ancient villas on Gulangyu Island, with a history of more than 150 years. The villa is of British style, featuring a small flower garden at the rear and two-story buildings on either side. The Liao family villa once enjoyed a period of splendor on Gulangyu Island, but now, due to long-term neglect, the front part has become dangerous, and the main entrance is closed to visitors. The opening hours and business status are subject to the actual opening conditions on the day.
