Xiamen University Lover’s Valley: A Hidden Gem

Xiamen University’s Lover’s Valley, originally known as Xiamen University Reservoir, also called Siyuan Valley, is a valley formed by the terrain of the Wu Lao Peak to the north of the university.
Inside the valley lies an artificial reservoir that used to supply almost all the water for the entire university before the introduction of water from the Jiulong River.

Surrounded by the beautiful peaks and spiritual stones of Wu Lao Peak, with exotic flowers and plants as its tapestry, the valley’s combination of mountain and water scenery is so enchanting that it feels like a fairyland.

Open all year round, the valley is accessible 24/7, with specific business status depending on the day’s opening conditions.
