Taiping Stone Smile in Xiamen

Taiping Stone Smile is one of the old “Eight Small Scenes” in Xiamen and also one of the new Twenty Scenes in Xiamen.
It is composed of four natural huge stones. Two of them are stacked on top of each other, with one end sticking together and the other end open. The other two huge stones stand upright to form a stone gate, naturally taking on the appearance of an “open-mouthed smile”. Since it is located in the Taiping Rock area, it got this name.

On the huge stone on the right side of the stone gate, the words “Stone Smile” are inscribed. The handwriting is vigorous and powerful, showing excellent calligraphy.

After entering the stone gate, when you suddenly turn around, there is a stone on the lintel of the stone gate smiling as if to welcome guests, which is an excellent welcome message.

Opening hours: Open 24 hours a day throughout the year.
