Xiamen Bridge is a highway bridge in China that spans across the strait, consisting of the main bridge, Jimei Interchange, Gaoqi Approach, and an automated management system.
The main bridge is 2070 meters long with a width of 23.5 meters on the bridge deck.
Construction began on October 1, 1987, and it was officially opened to traffic on December 19, 1991.
Adjacent to the north side of the Jimei Interchange is Jimei University and Huaqiao University.
