Zhongshan Park is located on Park South Road in Xiamen, in the downtown area. In memory of Dr. Sun Yat-sen, it was named “Zhongshan Park”. Since 1983, the park has been renovated and damaged several times and finally taken on a new look. Now it has become a comprehensive cultural park integrating exhibitions, science popularization, entertainment and leisure. The four gates of the park each have their own characteristics. Especially the south gate is very spectacular. There is a solemn bronze statue of Dr. Sun Yat-sen and a memorial plaque. On the monument are inscribed four big characters “Everyone is for the public good”. There is also a relatively small zoo and a children’s amusement park in the park for visitors to play. Opening hours: Open 24 hours a day throughout the year
