Xiamen Railway Culture Park, once a railway track, has been transformed into a distinctive park that retains its original railway tracks. The park, approximately 3 meters wide and spanning 4.5 kilometers in length, offers a unique experience.
It boasts a pleasant environment with trees lining both sides of the path, making it an ideal spot for walking and exercising.
Located between Wenping Road and Heping Wharf in Siming District, Xiamen, the park stretches a total length of 4.5 kilometers.
Along the railway, there are four scenic areas: Wanshou District, Huxiyan Scenic Area, Wanshi Mountain Scenic Area, and Xiamen Old Town.
The entire old railway strip park is divided into four distinct sections based on cultural framework: Railway Culture Area, Folk Life Area, Style Experience Area, and Urban Leisure Area, each with its own characteristics.
Due to the length of the Railway Culture Park, which traverses the entire island of Xiamen, it is recommended to walk through the section that includes the Hongshan Tunnel, rather than the entire park.
The park is open all year round and accessible 24 hours a day.
