The Yanwu Bridge Viewing Platform is located within Xiamen’s Yanwu Bridge, which is known as one of the bridges closest to sea level. It consists of three piers and a scenic platform. Spanning approximately 824 meters in length, the platform covers an area equivalent to 27 standard basketball courts. Among them, the sea-facing side is about 455 meters long and over 30 meters wide.
The platform embraces the Yanwu Bridge Yanwu Road Interchange on the outside and extends deep into the bay. It has now become a niche photography spot in Xiamen. The northwest section allows for strolling on the pedestrian path with Gulangyu Island and Zhangzhou Port as backdrops for free photography; the southeast section offers stepping onto the beach, walking with the waves, and taking photos with the sea.

Visitors can access the viewing platform from the west entrance located behind the Shimao Strait Tower, the middle entrance on the west side of Yanwu Road leading to the sea dike road, and the east entrance behind the Ocean New Village. On the viewing platform, one can almost touch the azure sea of Xiamen Bay with a mere stretch of the hand, and with eyes closed, even feel as if flying over the sea. The platform is open year-round from 6:00 AM to 10:00 PM.
