Yundang Lake, formerly known as Yundang Port, is located in Xiamen City and was originally connected to the sea. After land reclamation, a causeway was built from Fuyu to Dongdu, turning Yundang Port into an inland lake with an area of 1.7 square kilometers.
Yundang Lake resembles a clear glass ribbon that almost spans the entire city of Xiamen, and the small island in the center of the lake is like a shimmering pearl, embedded in the heart of Yundang Lake.

During the day, flocks of white egrets fly from the central island of Yundang Lake into the sky. The clear lake water reflects the elegant and graceful figures of the egrets, as well as the tall and majestic modern buildings by the lake, forming a beautiful watercolor painting.
