There is an open space on the mountainside of Riyueping, which is Guanyun Platform. This is an excellent place to view the sea of clouds in Xiling Snow Mountain. On sunny days, you may see the rolling sea of clouds here, surging like waves. It is also an ideal location to overlook the entire scenic area.
Take the high-altitude sightseeing cableway to Riyueping first, then walk forward to the Strange Stone Forest to reach Guanyun Platform. From Guanyun Platform, you can also go up to Osmanthus Ridge. After the visit, you can return to the ski resort.
