Gulangyu Island, known as the Island of Music, is a must-visit destination for music enthusiasts. The Gulangyu Concert Hall, with its elegant environment, regularly hosts performances by pianists and has become one of Xiamen City’s important venues for music events.
Free musical performances are also available in the evenings. The concert hall’s main building is nestled among ancient camphor and banyan trees, and throughout the year, it frequently hosts chamber music and classical music concerts.

The main building comprises the lobby, performance hall (stage, audience hall), VIP rooms, dressing rooms, piano rooms, and sound and light control rooms. The auxiliary facilities include a piano room building, central air conditioning machine room, and power distribution room.

The performance hall can accommodate 571 audience members, primarily decorated with wooden materials, and features a fully natural acoustic sound effect. The opening hours are subject to the daily operational status.

A must-see tip: from 19:30 to 20:30 daily, the concert hall’s charity performances and rehearsal concerts are free to visitors.
