There are diverse architectural styles on Gulangyu Island. Anxian Hall is a three-story square building made of strip stones. The large entrance steps and the main pillar awning are simple and lively. The parapet is decorated with granite stones, resembling the sawteeth of a castle. The overall style is simple, solemn and unique in form.
The current function of Anxian Hall is not limited to providing for the elderly in the church. It has now been opened as a health resort club. There are professional teaching courses on health preservation during vacations. People can learn health preservation knowledge while recuperating in Anxian Hall.
