Yunlong Valley’s rubber boat rafting is located in the Guobao Yunlong Valley scenic area, slightly southwest of central Guobao Township in Dehua, the Chinese Porcelain Capital. It is situated alongside Provincial Highway 206, 17 kilometers away from the county town. This section of the rafting river is one of the sources of the Jinjiang River. The starting point is at the entrance of the Guobao Yunlong Valley scenic area, and the endpoint is at Pear Blossom Island, covering a distance of 3.
8 kilometers with a drop of nearly 50 meters and more than 30 rapids and dangerous shoals. The rafting experience takes approximately 2 hours. The main water source of the rafting channel comes from the natural mountain spring water of Daiyun Mountain, which is of excellent quality and clear to the bottom. The natural canyon gives Yunlong Valley rafting a unique characteristic. Along both sides of the stream, the ecological environment is good, and the scenery is beautiful, integrating waterfalls, deep pools, strange rocks, jungles, and rare plants. The main attractions on both banks include Yunlong Waterfall, Cherry Blossom Island, Sleeping Beauty, Lianxin Island, Lianxin Pool, Carp Leaping the Dragon Gate, and Lion’s Blessing. The opening hours are from January 1st to April 30th from 08:30 to 17:30; from May 1st to October 31st from 08:00 to 18:00; and from November 1st to December 31st from 08:30 to 17:30.
