Shanhou Ju Luo, also known as the Shanhou Folk Culture Village, is a traditional architectural complex completed during the 26th year of the Guangxu Emperor’s reign in the Qing Dynasty. It was initiated by the successful Japanese business leaders, Wang Guozhen and his son Wang Jingxiang, who called upon their clansmen to establish this expansive village.
The complex includes 16 traditional Minnan-style two-entry buildings, one school building, and one Wang family ancestral hall, totaling 18 buildings, collectively referred to as ‘Shi Ba Jian’.

Opening hours and business status are subject to the daily opening conditions. Please note that there are still 18 households living in this area, so visitors are kindly requested not to enter the unopened ancient houses without permission.
