Ganhai No.1 is located in Daoao Village, Xiaoao Town, Lianjiang County. It is situated in the Xiaoao Fishing Ground at the estuary of the Minjiang River, only a sixty-minute drive from downtown Fuzhou. It is a leisure project in Fujian Province that offers an experiential mudflat fishery labor experience.
For seven years, Ganhai No.1 has made great efforts to maintain the original ecology of the mudflat, where a large number of wild seafood are hidden. When the sea water recedes, the mysterious underwater world begins to be presented before our eyes. Take your children to get close to nature, the sea and the mudflat. Observe, explore and harvest like fishermen.

There are no less than twenty species of snail organisms growing on the nearshore mudflat of Ganhai No.1. The area 300 meters off the shore is the main growth area for snails. Each type of snail has a different disguise. You need a discerning eye to search for and discover each kind of snail. Use your sharp eyes to make them end up in your bucket.

The area from 300 meters to 500 meters off the shore is the main growth area for shellfish organisms. Regularly groping around in the muddy water of the mudflat with your five fingers spread is the main way to harvest shellfish. Due to the gregarious habits of shellfish organisms, it doesn’t mean you can get a full harvest just by randomly digging. Look up and see who has a larger harvest. Move closer to the areas where people have more catches and where there are more people. That must be the gathering place for shellfish.

The estuary area of the Minjiang River is the main growth area for sea sturgeons. With the ebb and flow of the tides, sea sturgeons, mantis shrimps, slipper lobsters, fish and other marine organisms that have nowhere to hide when the tide recedes will hide in cages.

After the mudflat shellfish area activity, the crab area will be opened uniformly. Speed, courage and the cooperation of the family team determine how much joy you can harvest.

Catching loaches, a game we often played in our childhood, is now a rare opportunity for children to experience. Ganhai No.1 has specifically set up a loach pond to allow children to catch those slippery loaches in the shallow water that doesn’t even reach their ankles. When a child holds up the fruits of his labor, remember to capture the smile on his face that we had in our childhood.

Catching ducks may seem simple, but it’s actually not easy! The sea ducks that are raised in the mudflat area for a long time are not ordinary! For each duck you catch, you can get sea duck eggs from the sea ducks raised in the mudflat and naturally feeding as a reward.
