Enter Qi Gongci from Fayu Hall in Yushan and go up the steps. Then you will see “Wanxiang Pavilion”. It was built in memory of Xin Qiji, who was the magistrate of Fuzhou and concurrently the pacification commissioner in 1192 during the Southern Song Dynasty and advocated resistance against the Jin Dynasty. He once wrote a poem “Xi Jiang Yue” here on the Double Ninth Festival, sighing that there are so many sorrows in life. One can only get drunk with wine in Wanxiang Pavilion.
