The Fujian Science and Technology Museum is located at the southern foot of Yu Mountain, adjacent to the east side of Wuyi Square, in the heart of Fuzhou City. It is a comprehensive science museum that integrates exhibition education, academic exchange, training experiments, and special effects film.
The museum boasts a permanent exhibition area of 4,000 square meters, featuring over 300 classic exhibits; it includes provincial-level “Youth Science Workshops” such as computer robots, information technology, radio direction finding, model aircraft making, and woodworking.
Equipped with a fully-fledged and advanced academic auditorium and training classrooms, the museum also features a 500-square-meter Academician Hall and a 150-meter-long Academician Gallery, showcasing the achievements of 142 Fujian-born academicians.
Operating Hours: The museum is closed all day on Mondays and Tuesdays throughout the year; it is open from 09:00 to 17:00 from Wednesdays to Sundays; and during the Dragon Boat Festival, it is open from 09:00 to 17:00.
