Lan Jianshu’s Former Residence is located at No. 94 on the north side of Jibi Lane and No. 6 on the east side of Nanhou Street. Both Jibi Road and Nanhou Street have main entrances.
This former residence, built during the Qing Dynasty, consists of two main buildings and a flower hall, with a construction area of 1029 square meters.

The front building has two sections, facing south with its back to the north; the rear building faces west with its back to the east, featuring a mixed structure of blue bricks and wood, combining Chinese and Western architectural styles.

The ‘Min Capital Folk Culture Grand View Garden’ is established within the former residence of the Navy Commander Lan Jianshu. The main hall of the residence still displays the statues of ‘Land Goddess’ Chen Jinggu and ‘Sea Goddess’ Mazu.

Open all year round from 09:00 to 17:00.
