Quanzhou Forest Park is located in Donghai Town, Fengze District. It reaches Daping Mountain in the west, Houzhu Port and Quanzhou Bay in the east, Tonggang Road in the south, and includes the estuary of Luoyang River in the north. The total controlled area is 547.1 hectares.
The park construction relies on coastal resources such as Daxiao Taohua Mountain and Quanzhou Bay Estuary Wetland Reserve, as well as historical sites in the ancient city of Quanzhou. It highlights the characteristics of a famous historical and cultural city, a well-known hometown of overseas Chinese, the starting point of the Maritime Silk Road, and the gathering place of world religions. It is a natural ecological park with beautiful mountains and clear waters and pleasant scenery, composed of resources such as strange stones, rivers, wetlands, seabirds, ancient ruins, and forests.
