Ziliujing Old Street refers to a 1.5-kilometer-long street stretching from Lubian Well to Huojing Tuo. It is situated in the historic center of the old town of Zigong, a nationally recognized historical and cultural city. This street served as an ancient salt transport route for well salt in ancient times and is also the location of the world-renowned “Ziliujing” site.
The architecture along the old street predominantly reflects residential styles from the late Qing Dynasty and early Republic of China era. It features continuous rows of modest houses lining the stone-paved paths, interspersed with grand, secluded courtyards belonging to wealthy families.
