Yulan Hall is located by the Kunming Lake in the Summer Palace, one of the renowned buildings within the complex. Constructed during the reign of Emperor Qianlong, this site once served as the sleeping quarters of Emperor Guangxu. Following the Hundred Days’ Reform, Empress Dowager Cixi imprisoned Emperor Guangxu here for a time, and the interior still retains the original layout. The hall is open to visitors from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM all year round.
