Jiale Hall is the main hall at the back of the central route of the mansion. Above the main entrance hangs the plaque of ‘Jiale Hall’. This plaque is suspected to be given to Heshen by Emperor Qianlong. However, there is no signature or seal on the plaque, so it cannot be verified. During the period of Prince Gong, Jiale Hall was mainly used as a sacrificial place in the palace. Inside, there are memorial tablets of ancestors, various gods, etc. The main rituals are those of Shamanism.
