Yi Shui Lake is situated 30 kilometers southwest of Yi County within the city of Baoding. It is an artificial lake constructed in the 1950s by taking advantage of the towering mountains surrounding the area. The lake covers an area of 27 square kilometers with depths reaching up to 48.5 meters and meets the national second-class water quality standards. It is connected to Langya Mountain on the south side, adjacent to Zijing Pass on the north, bordered by the 1283-meter-high Wufeng Fortress on the west, and flanked by Jiulong Mountain on the east.
Yi Shui Lake collects the upstream water of the Yi River, forming a lake with clear and pure water quality. The area surrounding Yi Shui Lake boasts a beautiful environment and pleasant scenery.
