Dongji Xiangu Natural Scenic Area is located at the northern foot of the main peak of the Yan Mountain Range, Wuling Mountain. The scenic area boasts beautiful scenery with distinct seasons. In spring, the hills are covered with red flowers, the air filled with the fragrance of blooming azaleas and lilacs, displaying a vibrant array of colors and shades of green, all teeming with vitality, allowing you to experience the infinite beauty of nature.
Summer sees the area lush and verdant; while the sun outside is scorching, inside the mountains, the trees provide refreshing shade and cool breezes, with cascading waterfalls and clear streams, offering a natural forest canopy that blocks out the sun. This is an ideal place to escape the heat, leaving you feeling refreshed and reluctant to leave. In autumn, the base of the mountain remains green, while the birch and larch trees on the mountain have turned golden, changing layer by layer to yellow, red, and purple. At a glance, the red leaves, clusters of fruits, and patches are embedded between the overlapping mountain ridges, like red sails floating on the green waves, and like rosy clouds drifting in the blue sky. Winter features a series of ice ponds. The vast forest sea presents a northern landscape, with ancient pines and cypresses standing strong and tall in the snow, exuding a quiet and cool charm. There are numerous ancient relics in the mountains, including Black Valley Pass, Five Tiger Gate, and the Ming Great Wall, among many other attractions. The unique natural landscape of interconnected mountains and waters, where mountains are reflected in the water and water is found within the mountains, with scenes and objects within the view, is enhanced by its unique geographical location (easternmost part of Beijing), an altitude of nearly a thousand meters, distinct climate, and vegetation coverage率高达98%, creating a natural oxygen bar!
