The Haidian Museum is located in Building A of Zhongguancun Haidian Culture and Art Building. It is a newly established comprehensive museum of local history in Haidian District. The museum’s collection is rich, covering various periods from the Neolithic Age to the Ming and Qing dynasties and up to modern times. It involves more than ten categories such as porcelain, jade, gold and silver wares, and bronze ware. Through organizing basic and thematic exhibitions, the museum showcases and promotes the great historical process and splendid culture of the Chinese nation to the public at home and abroad. It also introduces the historical changes and social development of Haidian District. Opening hours: The museum is closed all day on Mondays throughout the year. It is open from 09:00 to 16:30 from Tuesdays to Sundays throughout the year.
