The former residence, originally constructed during the Chongzhen era of the Ming Dynasty, was the home of the Left Grand Commandant, Tian Hongyu. In 1924, it became Sun Yat-sen’s temporary residence. The property faces south and is divided into eastern and western sections, with a garden situated in the northeastern part. It stretches from South Zhong Road in the south to Fu Xue Hutong in the north, is over 20 meters away from Zhong Jianzi Alley in the east, and extends to Qilin Stele Hutong and Jiaodaokou South Street in the west. This residence is of significant value for studying Sun Yat-sen’s life in his later years. Please note that the opening hours are subject to the daily operational status.
