Han Jianyu was born in Guangdong in 1981. He graduated with a bachelor’s degree in oil painting from the Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts in 2006 and a master’s degree in 2009. In 2016, he studied in Paris, France. Since 2009, he has been teaching at the Fourth Studio of the Oil Painting Department of the Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts. Currently, he is the director of the Fourth Studio and an associate professor at the Oil Painting Department of the Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts.
