Miniature Beijing: A Tale of the Capital is the second of its kind after Miniature Berlin in Germany and the first interactive miniature experience hall in Asia. It is based on the legendary story of Beijing’s transformation from an ancient imperial capital through dynastic changes and cultural shifts into a modern metropolis. Utilizing immersive sound, light, and shadow effects, along with interactive miniature scenes, the exhibit presents a spectacular 3D model of the Yuan Dadu, hutongs, the Forbidden City, the Great Wall, the Temple of Heaven, and modern Beijing. Over 6,000 mini residents and holographic projections are used to recreate history, bringing it to life and allowing visitors to truly immerse themselves in the historical narrative, becoming witnesses to the past.
Opening Hours: The exhibition is open all year round from 10:00 to 21:00.Miniature Beijing: A Tale of the Capital
