Tropical Storm is a large water park relatively close to downtown Shanghai. The park creates lakes, rivers and beaches and has a variety of thrilling and exciting water amusement projects. It has become one of the places for families in Shanghai to play with water and relax in summer. Tropical Storm is open during summer vacation every year. Although there are many amusement projects, because students are on vacation, if you go on weekends, there will be an extremely large number of people, presenting a spectacular scene of ‘boiling dumplings’.
Therefore, considering both sun protection and the large number of people, it is recommended to go in the evening when there are fewer people. After changing into swimsuits, go to the locker to put your bag. The locker has two keyholes, upper and lower. Remember that every time you open the locker, you need to notify the staff to help you open the upper lock, while the lower lock is an additional lock you add yourself. Things to carry with you include swimming goggles, slippers and sunscreen. In addition, try not to bring things like mobile phones and cameras. The whole park is not too large, but if you bring children, you still need to pay attention. With so many people and no mobile phone, it will be troublesome if the child gets lost. On the left side of the park are the parent-child water world, Happy Water Factory and Octopus Submarine suitable for children to play. Inside are wide and low slides specially designed for children. The interior decoration materials are also foam plastics to prevent collisions. Adults can also play at Linwu Exploration, the northern swimming pool and Dinosaur Bridge nearby. In particular, it should be mentioned that in Linwu Exploration, there is a super large bucket. When it is full of water, it will pour down. Many people will wait underneath to be drenched. In addition, there are also water guns, buckets, seesaws and other amusement facilities. You can have a water fight here and it seems like returning to childhood. Next, you can go to play on the four relatively exciting slides located inside the park. Of course, there are relatively more people. Giant Dragon Twin Peaks are like two giant spiral and open slides. You need to slide down supine. During the rotation, it seems that you lose your direction. Shenlong Chushui requires a double inflatable boat. This project is for two people to play together. Single people cannot play. If you are alone, you can choose the Nine-Bend Tunnel. There is no light during the sliding process, just like passing through a dark space-time tunnel. The more exciting one is Sonic Flying Dragon. There are two high-speed slides. The sliding undulations have three layers and the speed can reach 20 meters per second. It will definitely make your butt feel the impact of water waves. After roughly playing the important projects, it is recommended to go to Perak River and Storm Beach to play. Perak River runs through the entire park and you can drift to different project points. There is no exciting element. It is purely drifting on the water. The water flow is very gentle. You can sit on it and relax your previously tense and exciting nerves.Opening hours: 6/22 – 7/7 09:00 – 22:00 open; 7/8 – 9/1 Tuesday – Sunday 09:00 – 23:00 open; 7/8 – 9/1 Monday 11:00 – 23:00 open; 9/2 – 6/21 closed all day.
