Jiangwan Ancient Town is located in the northwest of Hongkou District. It is adjacent to Wujiaochang Subdistrict in the east, borders Jing’an District in the west, and is connected to Baoshan District in the north. In the Song Dynasty, this town had already become a market town and was an important port in the Shanghai area. During the Ming Dynasty, Japanese pirates raided and the whole town was destroyed. Later, centered around Baoning Temple, it gradually recovered into a town. During the Daoguang period of the Qing Dynasty, after Shanghai opened as a port, foreign businessmen competed to rent land and set up factories here, making the ancient town increasingly prosperous. The specific business hours and opening status are subject to the actual opening situation on the day.
