Mr. Adrian Cheng founded the K11 Art Foundation in 2010. The K11 Art Foundation is a non-profit organization aiming to promote the development of the contemporary art movement in China. It provides a creative cultivation platform for emerging artists in Greater China and brings their works to the international stage and the public. The K11 Art Foundation initiates multiple creative and cross-regional cooperation projects to showcase the potential of outstanding talents in China from Asia to the world.
Through research, actions and partnerships, as well as gathering the love and energy for art from all walks of life, the K11 Art Foundation offers diverse activities and exhibitions to educate and enhance society’s appreciation of art and culture. The K11 Art Village in Wuhan (artist residency program) provides a space and platform for many young artists to create and display their works. Opening hours: Open all year round from 10:00 to 20:00. Preferential policies: Children: Free for those under 1.3 meters (inclusive). Elderly: Free for those aged 70 or above (inclusive). Disabled: Free for the disabled with valid certificates.
