Die Shi Hua Gu Scenic Area is a themed park for Die Shi art and a showcase for the Wu Nuo culture. Located in Ban Xi Town, Youyang County, it spans across two administrative villages, Shan Shu Wan and Zha Ying, and is conveniently close to the G65 Bao Mao Expressway, just a 5-minute drive from the Ban Xi exit of the Yu Xi Expressway. The scenic area covers an area of over 3,000 acres and is shaped like the letter ‘one’, stretching from north to south, divided into the Die Shi Hua Gu District and the Chinese Rural Art Park.
Die Shi Hua Gu District is a fusion of Die Shi layers, Die Shi art, and Wu Nuo culture. The Die Shi layers date back to the Cambrian period about 500 million years ago, while the ‘female culture’ originated in the early formation of human primitive religion, with a history of about 10,000 years. The district primarily focuses on experience and interaction, featuring the Twelve Moon God Pillar Stone Array, Die Shi Magic Pit, Canyon Zipline Scenic Area, San Huang Terrace, Wu Nuo God Altar Ruins, and Twenty-Four Play God Bonfire Platforms, which are a clever combination of China’s primitive culture and romantic artistic techniques. It also serves as a passage for us to travel through the mysterious意境 of the 30th parallel north from modern society.
Abundant stone lotus flowers, the mysterious Tujia Wu Nuo totem culture, and romantic fields of powdery purple flowers immerse visitors in the passage of time, the voice of art, and the overview of mysterious and simple sculptures, stone arrays, and Cambrian stone flowers, as well as uniquely crafted art installations. This collision of ancient craftsmen and modern wisdom, the unexpected encounter of traditional humanities and modern civilization, makes the scenic area an excellent spot for checking in and taking photos. The full text is open all year round from 10:00 to 17:30, with actual opening times adjusted according to on-site actual passenger flow.
